Finance Manager-London King's Cross

Role and responsibilities
Business analysis:
- Ensure that the Group accounting policies are followed.
- Drive budgetary cost control to ensure adherence to Budgets.
- Identifying cost saving initiatives.
- Partnering with the Department Managers to formulate strategies that will enhance profitability and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Manage group cash flow and follow the finance strategy.

Reporting:
- Manage the preparation process for the Group financial statements for Year End.
- Ensuring the financial statements are compliant with IFRS requirements and the Group policies.
- Co-ordinate all aspects of planning and preparation for the interim and year-end audit and reporting.
- Acting as contact for the Group external auditors. Responsible for reporting the Group consolidated inventory position.
- Proactively seek ways to make the reporting cycle more efficient including looking at opportunities to automate processes and/or increase speed and accuracy of period-end processes within the Finance team.

Financial control:
- Consolidation of the group monthly / quarterly accounts.
- Owning the UK business general ledger including the preparation all necessary journals and balance sheet reconciliations, culminating in the production of periodic reporting and commentary of variances to budget and future risks and opportunities.
- Ensure the finance systems are properly maintained and that appropriate control procedures exist.
- Administration responsibility for banking mandates and online banking facilities.
- Overall responsibilities for the month end process ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ensure all accounts are reconciled and signed off promptly.

Others:
- Responsible for managing the Finance Team; ensuring that tasks are being prioritised, clear timetables are in place and deadlines are being met and that employees are supported in their development.

Knowledge and skills
- Relationship building skills.
- Proactive and hands on.
- Able to motivate and drive the team.

Education and experience
- Manager level experience in a Retail business.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
- Experience of consolidation systems and consolidation in multicurrency groups.
- Experience managing a team.

Full-time Picker/Packer-North Acton, London


As a Full-time Picker/Packer you will be based at the warehouse in North Acton. Reporting to the Online Manager, your main responsibilities are to accurately process online orders including picking and packing. We are looking for somebody who is efficient and has excellent attention to detail.

Experience in a similar role or knowledge of online business practices would be beneficial but not essential.

You must demonstrate:
-Strong organisational skills
-Excellent product knowledge
-Efficient communication and the ability to work within any team

Graphic Designer-Freelance



Reporting to the Advertising & Promotions Manager based in MUJI Europe Head Office in London, the Graphic Designer will be supporting the creation of artwork and any promotional materials for MUJI Europe.

Role and responsibilities
Produce signage for all the stores.
Creation of leaflets, flyers and invites.
Responsible for the image management including image retouching and formatting.
Adapting product labels and/or instruction to Country requirements.
Support with the window scheme related artwork.
Arrange the translation of signage for different languages as required.

Knowledge and skills
Excellent creative and visual sense.
Strong computer design skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
A solid knowledge of designing and art-working.
Attention to detail.
Ability to handle several projects at one time.
Excel knowledge at user level.
Fluent in English and other European language(s).

Education and experience
Design related degree (or equivalent).
Previous fashion / retail experience ideal.

Junior Web Developer-London King's Cross

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Web Developer will create, develop and maintain websites and associated applications. Duties include writing and editing content; designing webpage layout; determining technical requirements; updating websites; creating back up files and solving code problems.

Role and responsibilities
Create website layout/user interface by using HTML editors (i.e. MS Expression Web).
Assist with weekly site updates including; homepages, content pages and banners.
Follow MUJI guidelines to ensure consistency across all assets.
Ensuring assets will be displayed correctly on multiple devices.
Collaborate with the Online and Advertising & Promotions team to create engaging designs for all the online platforms.
Contributing to other team member?s workload as requested.
Other ad-hoc support requests and projects.

Knowledge and skills.

Knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 2008/2010 Domains.
Programming skills of any of the following will be advantageous: ASP.Net, ASP Classic, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to work well within a team, as well as be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Education and experience
Digital design experience (6 months minimum)
Knowledge of HTML and responsive web design are an advantage.
An interest in digital trends, design and best practices
Proven understanding of typography, layout, consistency and grid structures
Additional information
Permanent role. Based in the London office with occasional travel to the UK stores.
