Natural Characteristics
Our wooden furniture is made using natural cuts of wood, and variations in grain, knots, and colour tone are to be expected. These are natural characteristics of the material and are not considered defects. Please note that product images are for reference only and the item you receive may vary. These variations reflect the individual nature of each piece and result from the way the wood is processed. Wood grain and colour cannot be selected or specified.
Wood Care
We recommend regular dusting with a lint free cloth.
More stubborn marks can be cleaned with mild dish soap and warm water.
Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners.
Use heat resistant mats and coasters on all veneer surfaces.
Do not position your furniture in front of radiators, fires or other heat sources.
Keep out of direct sunlight as it may cause fading or discolouration.
Assembly
This item requires partial assembly and is supplied with the necessary fittings and an instruction manual. To ensure safe use and to prevent tipping, damage, floor scratches, or personal injury, please follow the assembly instructions and safety guidelines provided.
The wooden headboard is designed to attach securely to MUJI’s double platform bed frame using pre-drilled holes, screws and metal brackets, which are included in the set. Installation is quick and simple, with a stable fit that aligns cleanly with the frame. The headboard provides added support without disrupting the bed’s clean, minimalist design.
Can this headboard be attached to a non-MUJI bed frame?
This headboard is designed specifically to fit our double platform bed frames, using pre-drilled holes and metal brackets. It may not be compatible with non-MUJI bed frames, as the alignment and fitting points will likely differ. For best results, we recommend using it with our matching platform bed frame.
Does this headboard fit the large double or just the standard double bed frame size?
This headboard is designed to fit our standard double platform bed frame and is not compatible with the large double size, due to differences in dimensions and attachment points. For larger frames, a matching large double headboard is available to ensure a proper fit and seamless design.
